Kitsap Pandemic Community
Support Coalition

In mid-March 2020, leaders from the nonprofit, faith, community, business, and government sectors in Kitsap County began convening to work together to respond to the COVID-19 crisis and support our community during this unprecedented time.

Committed to two-way communication, the Kitsap Pandemic Community Support Coalition members share information, coordinate where possible, and urge action within their respective networks. The Coalition also informs Kitsap County Public Health and the Kitsap Emergency Operations Center on what they see on the ground – both challenges and opportunities.

The Coalition serves in an advisory capacity for the Unity in the Community - Kitsap's COVID-19 Response Fund hosted by Kitsap Community Foundation and the United Way of Kitsap. This Fund asks for donations from individuals, governments, and businesses in Kitsap County and will use those donations to provide resources to support agencies that need help responding to the COVID-19 crisis and supporting individuals in need. Learn about and donate to the Response Fund.

Additionally, the Coalition is working together to maintain a webpage that lists all of the resources available to assist individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and others in our community. Learn more by attending the monthly Coalition meetings.
